The Astoria Medical Clinic is the premiere privately owned medical facility in the growing city of Astoria, OR. The new addition will add oncology, MRI, CT, sleep clinic and general practice facilities to the community.
Due to site conditions in the area, the foundation consisted of driven steel piles with concrete grade beams and slabs on grade. The structural framework was structural steel with concrete slabs on deck at each upper level. The exterior walls were metal studs attached to the structural framework with exterior sheathing and a brick veneer. The site was located in the downtown area, and site access was very limited.
