Yakima County Courthouse Envelope Renovation

This project involved the replacement of the existing curtainwall envelope with a structural steel framing, metal stud and new curtain wall exterior. The majority of the work was done at night, while County stall occupied the building during the day. A temporary exterior wall was built 4’ in from the outside building line, and all the construction was performed from the outside. The building materials included new rooftop concrete beams, structural steel, aluminum curtain wall and storefront systems, and composite metal siding over an air and moisture barrier.
